Work Registration Scheme
020 7836 8505
In May 2004 the following eight countries joined the EU as new member states:
- Czech Republic
- Estonia
- Hungary
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
Workers from the new member states, who want to find employment in the UK directly or through recruitment agencies, will be required to apply to register with the Home Office.
Once the registration is successful and they have completed 12 months on the scheme with no breaks from employment they may apply for an EEA residence permit confirming their right to live and work in the UK.
For further information on how to apply for the scheme please contact our advisers using the portal key.
