The HSMP (Highly Skilled Migrant Programme) is designed to allow high calibre individuals to come to or remain in the UK by virtue of their skills and qualifications.

The HSMP visa is issued on the basis of a points system where individuals will need to score a minimum of 75 points across the various sections to be eligible. Points for HSMP visas will be issued for age, qualifications, recent earnings and UK experience. Another requirement of HSMP is that an individual must prove their English language ability.
