Q: I want to visit the UK what visa do I need?
A: If you are a visa national you may make an application for a visit visa. If you are a non visa national you are required to make an application for Entry Clearance.

A: To find out what you are please contact the local British Diplomatic Post in your home country.
Q: How long is a Visit Visa valid for?
A: This visa is allocated for a period not exceeding 6 months.
Q: What is a Marriage Visit Visa?
A: If you intend to marry your UK/ EU partner in the UK you will need to apply for a visit visa for the purpose of Marriage. This visa is valid for up to 6 months.
Q: What is a student visit visa?
A: The Student Visit Visa is valid for up to 6 months and allows Non-EU Nationals to enter the UK to study a short term education course.
Q: What do I apply for now the Tier 1 Highly Skilled Worker route has gone?
A: Tier 1 Exceptional Talent, this route is not yet open.
Q: Who's eligible to apply for the Worker Register Scheme?
The nationals of the following countries are permitted to apply for the Worker Register Scheme:
- Czech Republic
- Estonia
- Hungary
- Latvia
- Lithuania
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
Once they have worked continually for 12 months in the UK. They may apply for a Residence Permit.
Q: What do Bulgarian and Romanian Nationals apply for when they want to work in the UK?
