THE VISA OFFICE also researches and obtains various certificates on your behalf. Such certificates include:

Birth Certificates
Marriage Certificates
Death Certificates

Gaining access to an original birth certificate, or adoption paper for example, could very well mean the difference between being able to apply for a Five Year UK Ancestry Employment Visa, or not. It is worth bearing in mind that the Immigration & Nationality Directorate of the Home Office does not usually accept photocopies of such certificates. Neither do they accept "abridged birth certificates" (i.e. those which do not give details of parentage). Certificates should be full versions.

Our consultants are in a commanding position to be able to locate and obtain these legal documents for you, knowing where to research and how to apply. For example, all that we need from you to obtain a UK birth certificate is the name, date of birth, and location of birth of that person whom you would like the certificate of, also the parents names. The rest is up to us!

Timeframes for obtaining certificates can vary, but as a general guide UK birth/marriage certificates can be obtained by us within 10 days, often sooner.
